The world really is round!!
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me, said prayers for me and sent me notes of congratulations! I am so very excited to be moving on to the next step. The world really is round after all!! If I had failed the test on Wednesday, it would have been a flat world in regards to my career as that would have been the end of the road. Since that was not the case, I get to venture on through the next phases... I have two more exams and licenses to obtain. However, I would not be allowed to even study and sit for the exams had Wednesday not been a success. So, even though these are tough and to be taken serious, they still don't feel as nearly as much pressure! For the next two weeks, I will be studying for my Series 66 exam. It is another US Govt exam that goes into much more details in regards to state laws and regulations for securities. Once I complete that, I will spend a week in St. Louis (our headquarters) for training. And when I come back, I will spend a... (more)

2012 and squash...
My apologies to whoever I've told that squash is going to be included as an Olympic sport in London 2012. Turns out that Squash (And karate) DID make the final cut, being VERY CLOSE to being chosen for the 2012 Games, but apparently BOTH the sports didn't get the majority 2/3 votes, so neither is going to be included. So there's going to be 26 sports for 2012. And no Olympic medal for Nicol David. :( Squash doesn't get enough love. (Okay, I wouldn't want a love score in squash though. LOL. OR tennis. Ugh, bagels.)
